Today, it pains me that my definition of America is so different from that of slightly more than half of my countrymen. It pains me more that despite all evidence to the contrary, the ruling party will treat this as a mandate. Dissent will be ignored. Questions will go unasked. The 49% will be marginalized, and the Supreme Court will be pushed further to the right, ensuring the dominance of these philosophies for quite some time.
I'd like to see "the uniter-not-a-divider". I fear I will not.
How could he pick up support with his performance in the last four years?
